PP2 – Use a Professional Microphone with your iPhone Video Camera
A new episode of Pocket Podcaster has just been published over at Pocket Podcaster titled “PP2 – Use a Professional Microphone with your iPhone Video Camera.”
Use a Professional microphone with your iPhone video camera
In this episode, we show you how you can upgrade the quality of your video by improving your audio with an external professional lavaliere microphone. The Audio Technica ATR3350 is a great sounding microphone and inexpensive.
You will also need an adapter to allow you to connect the microphone to your iPhone. I recommend the iPhone 1/8 inch microphone adapter from kV Connection. Depending on what – if any – case you keep your iPhone in, you may want to opt for the straight plug version. The right angled one won’t fit around the Otter Box case on my iPhone 4S.
You can also see that we have added titles and other clips in this episode. This was done using Apple iMovie on iPad. And that will be the content of the next episode.

What I Am Grateful For – Day 1
What I Am Grateful For – Day 1
Yesterday, I was encouraged by my wife, Katie, to post something to Facebook each day that I am grateful for for a year. Since I also have been trying to get myself to blog more often, I thought I would do it as a blog post that would then share to my Facebook and other social media pages.
So, I thought I would start with the biggest one:
I am grateful for Jesus.
Jesus is my Lord and Savior. He is the reason I am here – in more mays than one.
Over the course of this year, I am sure I will get into it in more detail, but the life I have now would not be my life if it weren’t for Jesus. I wouldn’t have the peace that I (most of the time) have. I wouldn’t have a purpose. I wouldn’t have the job I have have, and I wouldn’t be in Florida. I wouldn’t have the life I have.
